LAVERTY PATHOLOGY OPEN 6 DAYS

All the doctors in the practice have satisfied the training requirements of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and are on the Vocational Register of General Practitioners. This means we have a commitment to quality general practice and to continuing medical education.

APPOINTMENTS
Consultations are by appointment. Urgent problems will have priority status and will always be seen on the day.
Please request a long appointment for full check-ups or if you have several problems to discuss with your doctor.
We welcome all new patients.

HOME VISITS
Home visits are available for patients whose condition prevents them attending the surgery. This service will incur a higher fee.

AFTER-HOURS
Should you require after hours care, an accredited medical deputising service is available for house calls after our normal surgery hours on 1300 729 749.

ACCOUNTS
Information on current fees charged is available at reception. Bulk-billing is restricted to Veterans and to some pension card holders. Private fees are charged to most patients and are to be settled on the day of consultation.
Our facilities enable your payment to be directly transmitted to Medicare on your behalf. Please ask reception for more details.
Telephone requests for prescriptions, referrals and reports may incur a fee.
Please give 48 hours notice prior to the collection of your paperwork.

Always feel free to ring for a health enquiry. If the receptionist is unable to help, the doctor will personally return your call as soon as possible.

PRIVACY
Your medical record is a confidential document. Our practice maintains the security of personal health information at all times we ensure that it is only available to authorised staff members.

FEEDBACK
We take your concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously. Please approach the staff or ask for the suggestion box at Reception. Complaints can also be directed to:
