Tufiq shah
Tufiq Shah is our current CEO and founder of the GPSS with 24 years of Management experience in public and private health services. Tufiq Shah holds M.B.,B.S (Sind University) and M.H.P (UNSW) and is an Associate Member of Australian College of Health Services Executives.
Dr Gerard Barold
Dr Barold is Group Medical Director and has been in active General Practice for over 30 years also having been a clinical tutor and examiner with the School of Public Health and Community Medicine, University of NSW for many years. He was the founding chair for both General Practice NSW (formerly Alliance of NSW Divisions) and Eastern Sydney Division of General Practice (ESDGP) as well as having been ESDGP's first CEO.
Ajay Gandhi
Ajay has worked in significant financial management positions for over 25 years, having direct involvement in the decision making and financial aspects of the business. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce (NZQA Certified) and is a Public Practitioner, registered with the national
Astrid Eggins
Astrid has been with GPSS since it opened its first practice at Broadway in 2003 and as such is our employee of greatest longevity, though she is quick to point out, not our oldest employee. Initially helping on the Front Desk in a part time capacity, she moved to Head Office as GPSS expanded its number of practices where she first worked in Accounts and then when extra staff arrived, moved solely to look after Doctor Pays, Reconciliation and PIP issues. She is one of the few GPSS employees who moves around all the practices and has developed an understanding of the different natures and demographic of each practice and knows all the doctors working under the banner of GPSS. David Peck
David Peck is our Human Resource Manager, having joined GPSS in August 2008. David has over 30 years in the public sector in NSW, the last 15 in various human resources roles in public hospitals in Sydney and mid-north coast of NSW. David holds a Diploma in Human Resources from Monash University.
Laurie -Ann Harry
Johanna Grozos (General Manager and Operations Manager)
Johanna has been in the medical industry for over 15 years and operates five of the practices, within the Sydney metro area. Johanna is the Operations Manager for GPSS. She is also the General Manager of the GPSS network. Her aim is to identify where improvements can be made, and engineering of operational systems. Increasing efficiency, staff morale, liaising with General Practitioners, working and communicating with people at all levels. She has the capacity for rapid learning for any situation.She is an affliliated member of the RACGP and a member the Australian Practice Management Association.
Les Xiao
Les has been involved in the accounting profession since 2000. After completing his training as a draftsman and accountant, Les joined a plumbing and packaging company as a bookkeeper and assistant accountant. He joined the GPSS team as an accountant in 2006 and since that time has been instrumental in helping the director and our staff in managing all aspects of accounts.
Jeannie Huggins
Jeannie has over 40 years experience as a Registered Nurse, working extensively in both management and clinical areas within Australia and the United States of America. Her commitment towards patient care has enabled her to provide the highest degree of professional service.
Richard Young
Richard Young has had ten years of experience as a General Practitioner with special interests in dermatology and cosmetic medicine. He is General Manager of Victoria for GPSS and now based full time in Melbourne. He specializes in clinic purchase, amalgamation and practice management structure.
Kaye Culnane
Kaye has worked in the medical industry for over 20 years. Her role in Blacktown General Practice is Work cover liaison Officer and supervising the day to day duties. Kaye's is committed to upholding the high quality of care to all doctors, staff and patients.
