Group Practice Formation Services are as follows:
- Establishment
Secure a suitable site or premises in close proximity to your existing practice, arrange architectural/interior designs for your approval, manage the regulatory approvals and project manage the refurbishment and fit out and establish contact with other local GPs to relocate.
- Policies and procedures
Establish the group practice policies and procedures, recruit, train and continuously review requirements for the necessary reception, administrative and clinical staff.
- Control over your own practice billing, Roster and Holidays
Respect your discretion in setting your billing policy. You may bill private or bulk. You are paid fortnightly/monthly on receipts. What ever hours you have agreed to work per week you choose the hours each day you wish to work. Generous holidays
- Higher income prospects
Organise appropriate programs to attract new patients, such as travel vaccination, skin cancer, anti-ageing, occupational health, cosmetic care and also manage Care Plans, EPC items and Medicare Plus items, as well as general promotion of the centre.
We encourage speciality focus within general practice. We undertake planned promotional activities such as year-long advertising in the local print media. We participate in local community activities.
- Better patient facilities
Our focus is to plan new centres with good patient facilities, including parking.
We also focus on providing quality care so patients can feel they are getting value for their money, as we encourage private billing.
- IT systems and medical equipment
Organise the installation of the necessary computer and IT systems and all appropriate business and shared clinical equipment.
- Your existing staff
Encourage existing staff of GPs to apply for the available positions.
- GPs under your supervision or associateship
Continue the existing arrangements between you and the GPs under your supervision.
